Next week will be an exciting one as we celebrate Nord Kindness Crew Spirit Week, which aligns with World Kindness Day on Thursday, November 13th. Please see the flyer below and encourage your child to join in the fun!

We’re also looking forward to welcoming our Veterans for lunch on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11th. If you have any questions or would like to participate, please contact the main office at 440-998-4441 or refer to the email that was sent last week.

Kindness Crew Spirit Week

Congratulations to our Comet Impact students of the month for October! These students, listed below, were recognized by our staff for consistently demonstrating our Comet Impact respectful, responsible, and safe.

Last week, our students used their first quarter PBIS points to purchase passes such as tech time, lunch with a teacher, stuffed animal passes, pajama passes, and hat passes!

Outside Recess

Please make sure your child is coming to school with a coat, hat, and gloves this winter. Recess will be held outside when the feels-like temperature is 20 degrees or higher at the time of recess.

Nord School has a Care Closet which is run by Ms. Maiorca, School Social Worker. Please email Ms. Maiorca if your family needs assistance with warm clothing this winter.

Fall Harvest Parties

A big thank you to all our parent volunteers who joined us for the Fall Harvest Parties! We loved seeing so many families joining in on the fun with our students.

Dr. James Knight Grade Level Assemblies

On October 28th, our Nord students had the opportunity to hear an inspiring presentation from Dr. James L. Knight. Dr. Knight spoke to students about the importance of leading with humility, heart, and kindness—powerful messages that align perfectly with our district values.

We are so proud of our students for their thoughtful engagement and enthusiastic participation during his visit!
