A Weekend Full of Comet Pride and Celebration!

Get ready to show your Comet spirit as we come together for a weekend packed with tradition, excitement, and community pride! Join us at Spitzer Autoworld Stadium as the Steele Comets take on Olmsted Falls.

The celebration kicks off with the Homecoming Parade, featuring class floats, PTO groups, school teams, and many spirited participants. Be sure to cheer them on and soak in the energy of this annual tradition!

Once the parade concludes, head into the stadium — gates open at 5:45 PM. Our talented band, cheerleaders, and Steele Dance Team will be on hand to showcase their school spirit alongside our football team as we get ready for the big game.

A highlight of the evening will be the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen around 6:45 PM, just before kickoff.

And the celebration doesn’t stop there! The Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday at Marion L. Steele from 7–10 PM. We hope our students have a safe, fun evening filled with memories and special moments that will last a lifetime.

Don’t miss this chance to celebrate our students, our school, and our community — we can’t wait to see you there!

Girls Soccer Senior Night Celebrations!

Last Wednesday, the Amherst Lady Comets Soccer Team honored 12 amazing seniors on a beautiful night in the NEW Spitzer Autoworld Stadium! The team celebrated with a big 5–0 SWC win over the visiting Elyria Pioneers.

Highlight of the night: Senior Paige Miller sent in a perfect corner kick that Sienna Rebman finished to give the Comets the lead—and tie the all-time assist record at 41! Just minutes later, Paige broke the record with assist #42, once again connecting with Sienna for her second goal of the night. Congratulations, Paige, on this incredible achievement!

What a special night for our seniors, their families, and Comet soccer!
