I am so excited to welcome everyone back for the 2025-2026 school year! I'm also excited about this year's theme, “I Am Amherst”. Our theme is a reminder that everyone—students, families, staff, community members, and businesses—plays a role in shaping our schools and future.
A big thank you to our parents and guardians for your patience and cooperation during arrival and dismissal. Your support helps make the first days run smoothly for everyone!
I also want to recognize our amazing faculty and staff for their hard work in preparing for opening day and for creating a warm, welcoming environment for our students. Your dedication makes all the difference!
Please take a moment to watch the video below to hear what members of our schools and community are saying about “I Am Amherst.”
Take a look at some snapshots from across our buildings as students reunited with friends, met their teachers, and got settled into their classrooms.
Below, you’ll find a short video with highlights from each school, giving you a glimpse into the energy and excitement as students begin their year and discover all the great things ahead.
